January 2, 2009 provided me with a sight I'd never seen before! 
When the wind picked up, I glanced outside and saw hundreds of snowballs being
 formed as the wind playfully swept over the snow. 
A short while later they were all melted away.
What a delightful way to start the New Year...with an unexpected sight!
